|
This is a well presented restored neo-Gothic three-storey house in a quiet backwater of Lower Lansdown close to the centre and within a stone's throw of the Assembly Rooms. The house has been refurbished in the last few years and retains much of its original neo-gothic features There is a double reception room (sitting and dining areas) with a non-working fireplace. The kitchen is is equipped with an electric hob, oven, fridge and separate freezer. A concealed laundry room includes a washing machine and offers some storage. There are three bedrooms - the main bedroom is large and on the first floor, a further double bedroom and a smaller single room or home office are on the uppermost floor. The large bathroom has a white suite with a shower over the bath and a capacious airing cupboard. Outside there is a paved garden area together with a single private parking space for one motor. This house was designed by Bath-born Thomas Fuller (1823–1898) who later became the State Architect for Canada where he designed many municipal buildings including the Parliament and the Govenor's mansion. This house would be ideal for professional people or perhaps a small family.
